Orso Diving Club since 34 years teaches a lot of people coming all over the world to became divers. Thanks to the experience of the diving instructor, and the use of new system of teaching, the students can learn easy and fast in a safe and funny way. The diving has a nice and confortable theory room located on the solarium with air conditioned, floodlight, TV, computer and whiteboard. The SSI Scuba Rangers Program is a club that offers numerous diving activities for children ages 8 – 12. Safety is a top priority and Scuba Rangers programs are only taught by specially trained instructors in a pool, or under confined water conditions in a protected area up to a maximum depth of 5 meters. You will earn the Scuba Rangers recognition rating.

This is the introduciotn to the underwater world. After a quick theory about what you’re going to do, the instructor will give you the equipment. After that “every body on board” and we go to our natural swimming pool, Punta Battistoni (see the above photo) where in shallow water you’ll try the feeling to breath underwater. This is a kind of experience you should do at least one time in your life. The price included equipment, transfer by boat and a the theory lesson.

6 m. is not enough? After the normal Discovery Scuba we do a little break on board and then we enter another time in the water for the second dive. This time we can reach 12 mt depth where there is a fantastic surprise.

This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your life-long adventure as a certified scuba diver. This program is for students who do not have the time to complete the Open Water Diver program, and provides you with the training and experience required to dive in open water environments under the supervision of a dive professional. You will earn the SSI Scuba Diver certification, which can be upgraded to the SSI Open Water Diver certification with additional training.

Advanced Scuba Training

"ADVANCED ADVENTURER"

This is one of the most required course. It’s an experienced course, with no theory and excercises. This program allows you to experience five different open water dives from five SSI Specialty programs without requiring you to complete the entire Specialty. If you are unsure of your next step, this is the perfect way to advance your dive skills and experience, and to identify which Specialty programs interest you. You will earn the SSI Advanced Adventurer certification after completing this program.

EMERGENCY TRAINING

React Right is SSI’s emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrilation Basics. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right specialty certification.

Stress is a major cause of diving accidents and negatively impacts rescue situations. This program teaches you the skills and knowledge required to recognize and deal with stress, prevent accidents and properly deal with emergency situations encountered by freedivers. You will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification after completing this program.

SCUBA DIVE PROFESSIONAL

This program gives you the skills and experience required to safely lead groups of certified divers, and is the first step towards an exciting career as an SSI Dive Professional without requiring you to complete an instructor program. Professional Dive Guides can work for SSI Dive Centers, guiding dives in a variety of environments and conditions. You will earn the SSI Dive Guide certification after completing this program.

From 18 years old
This is an extension of the Dive Guide course because it provides an in-depth and detailed study of physics, physiology, decompression theory, aquatic environment, and underwater equipment. It is required as a prerequisite for most SSI professional courses.
